Ya, easiest to just power it from your TV, or an old phone charge brick.

yeah I just use an old phone charger on mine.

also is it just me or are they using an actual SNES controller port rather than a re purposed Wii port.

I kind of hope the controller isn't too faithful to the original with the mushy as hell buttons, the NES controllers were more clicky and responsive.

appears to be plenty of interest again judging by the amount of comments on EB Games facebook post on the mini snes.

Nintendo can print their own money. They know their IP is worth a mint.

I'm sure they have a number of "in case of emergency break glass" products and game re-releases ready and waiting.

I wish they'd hurry up and announce what they are doing with the Virtual Console on the Switch. Screw having another thing to plug into my TV, let me play the old games on the current system!

Just placed my pre-order at the local EB Games. Bloke at the counter said there were only accepting pre-orders from in store only.
He also said about 20 people had been in before me. The guy after me as I walked off ordered one also.
