Default Electronics Components Suppliers

There's now a page on the wiki for electronics suppliers.

Enjoy! And remember, you can edit it as you see appropriate.

Cheers,

general components - shipping is cheap - component prices are dirt cheap - shipping can take a while as it comes from thailand I think.

If your'e looking for more specialised, harder to find components, there are a few distributors in Australia. Warning: They many only ship to commercial entities or in large quantities.

You can now order any part from NewArk through Farnell ($30 delivery fee)
I'm not sure if you need to be an account holder??

Just got this back from my Farnell rep.
"It is easy just look on the web site www.newarkinone.com find the part you
require, we will advise the AU price we do require a hard copy of the order
with the $30.00 delivery charge, If the parts are in stock it is 3 to 5
working days delivery. If you have an account or a credit card either is
excepted."

EDIT 17/7/2008
Farnell charges only $10 delivery from Newarkinone in the US rather than $30, makes it more worth it.

For you Melbourne people...should know this one. They started when Radios were the only thing that had electronics.

The cool thing about Farnell is that they send you a free yellow-pages-sized catalogue
