Default watercooling tube - where to Buy in Brisbane?

Hi,

being a dumbass I bought 5 feet of tube from TKR instead of 5m so I need to find a few m to complete my build (using an external rad box hence need for more tubing).

Whare can I get some on the northside of Brisbane that will be equivalent quality to the Primoflex Clear 1/2ID 3/4OD that I have already???

I was hoping to get this together and running tomorrow so any assistance would be most helpful .

you're not the dumbass

tkr is for selling it by the ft!

Please Note: Price is per foot/unit eg: 10 feet = 10 units
I don't think it's possible to make that text any smaller
and it should be clearly labeled with the price imho.

A) this is Australia not Amerika
2)Imperial must die!!!!
C) It's 2011 not 1988

shoulda gone to GAM
he sells by the M

maybe try the trading forums?

Thanks so much for the offer Crashish but my fittings are 1/2 inch and the QDC fittings I Have require quite thick tube for the compression ring to make contact.

Nice offer though

Actually will 3/8 tube fit ok on 1/2 fittings? I could always tape the ends a little to aid compression...

Haven't used 3/8 before so not sure if it will be too restrictive since I have a reasonable run to/from my external rad box (maybe 2-2.5m total tubing).

Barbs or compression... Hot water to soften the pastiche should fit over barbs. Not sure bout compression.

It won't fit inside the compression ring snugly, but if it's only temporary it could work since if you manage to get it onto the fitting it won't come off in a hurry. Same principle as 7/16 on 1/2, just a bigger risk of it tearing if you leave a weakness on the cut.

ok... back to this again.

Where can I buy this type of tube in Brisbane? Seems the tubing places I have contacted only sell quite rigid stuff like bunnings.

Am after 1/2" or 7/16 ID and 5/8 ED

Clear or red coloured. Willing to buy 2nd hand if its the remnants of a roll (not used tube though :P).

Ended up using some of th tube I had left at home.... painful to fit since its wall thickness is too great for my comp fittings but a serviceable outcome.

I now have a roll of primoflex 10ft 5/8ID, 1/2" OD tube to go if anyone needs it UV Red colour...obviously I found it too small for my fittings!!!
