just got my first sdd hooked up to z77 pro4m. sandisk extreme sdssdx 120g g25

Gaming rig - Samsung 830 256gb
HTPC - Liteon 64gb
Partners laptop - Cruical M4 128gb
Work laptop - Gaming rigs old crucial m4 128gb

I cant stand using a pc without a ssd anymore, Im pretty sure babies die when I use a HDD as an os.....

Just wondering if you guys could help me.

I have an OCZ 128GB Vertex 4 and using Windows 8 64 on a P8P67 Deluxe B3 and newest BIOS. I have always had AHCI enabled in Bios from day1.

Windows 8 Sees my SSD as a Hard disk drive and tries to defrag it in Defrag and Optimise

Windows 8 Optimize works differently to defrag for ssds, if it's showing up as a 'hard disk drive' in optimize drives; http://superuser.com/questions/47920...o-in-windows-8
