Oh yes, I'd read those things you do if you want to encourage spawning, but I've never done anything and they haven't just had a water change. They just do it. The albinos are always laying eggs. Mostly they or someone else eats them. They got one baby who didn't get eaten and hid in the plants. There are still uneaten eggs in the big tank, so maybe some will survive this time. I'd like my little habrosus cories to breed, I'd love more of those, but I suspect is it just the albinos.

It is not just the cooler water that triggers spawning, dissolved oxygen helps and barometric pressure. I used to have my spray bars a centimetre above the water line to stimulate rain.

Me either. I get so sad when I go to the goldfish markets in Hong Kong seeing some of the conditions the fish are kept in there. Even worse is seeing wild-caught marine specimens foundering in some bare holding tank, it's criminal.
