Also, came across this blog when doing some reading on the 7D AF system. http://blogs.stonesteps.ca/showpost.aspx?pid=54
Ill have to keep it in mind when using the outer AF points. A few of the reject shots from that night came out clearly focused on the nose etc despite the AF point being placed over her eye. Will have to do some more testing on it.
