I'm not that clumsy but I drink soft drink and cordial often during the day while using my computer and over 10 years the occasional accidental spill is inevitable.

Yes the part of my couch I sit on is covered with a sheet (non plastic) and the whole couch has a cover and still looks like new despite being 7 or 8 years old. The cover is the one in the link below. The largest size cover is big enough to cover a decent sized couch and it looks quite stylish otherwise I wouldn't use it. As well as protecting the couch from spills it also protects the arms from my cat using them as scratching posts.

As for OP, time for an upgrade, but don't get keyboards (or anything PC-related for that matter) from DSE, go to a reputable PC parts store; better selection and most of the time they're cheaper too!

And there's nothing wrong with using water; it's cheap and dries eventually.
I tried to get one when DSE were selling them at $49

No harm on foul, keyboard still working fine this morning.

Also, didn't have any metho on hand.
