Told them to bugger off.

http://imgur.com/a/dmtmG For a few poorly lit shots (my RG is on a floor stand so missed out on the group photo). The flame is very nice and the honeyburst is perfect, but I have a feeling the neck pickup is a bit low. Action is pretty good but I'll have to play more to see whether I need heavier strings. Sounds great and can't wait to play this weekend and terrorise the neighbours.

I like the colour, it's nice. I hope you're happy playing it. How heavy is it? Do you need a crane to lift it?

Plays so bloody well! Just had a bash then and it's good fun. The mrs doesn't understand why I keep buying guitars, but each guitar has its purpose!

I think the perfect number is 7, but I have yet to verify that.

if you can get away with it... 7 is just a start!

im happy with my tele and acoustic. id been thinking about a jazzmaster with the tax return but after a week back on the tele and falling back in love with it im just going to stick it in the bank... going through my pedals they will all sound the same anyway.

I have 7. One is in pieces in the shed, but there is 7 in total. Only yesterday while I was noodling around on my primary guitar did my wife say:

"What do you use that one for?" - pointing toward the rack.
"I play Van Halen songs on that one."
"What about this one?"
"I play Van Halen songs on it too, but it's tuned differently"
"This one?"
"It's tuned to open C, for Devin Townsend songs."

She walked away, lucky, coz I didn't have anything lined up for the next one!

Functional guitaraholic here, 6 currently but had 10 at one stage.

If you play stuff in different tunings it's good to be able to have one (even better one with single coils and one with humbuckers) set up for each tuning and just swap guitars around rather than messing about retuning.

It's funny how I hear people saying they need many guitars for different tunings, yet so many bash the Gibson auto tuner thing.
My next thing to obsess over will be pedals. I'm going to move away from my Zoom G5 (probably sell it on here) and go for a proper pedal setup.

Different tunings require the guitar to be setup for that tuning though, you wouldnt want to be in E standard then use those same strings for Drop B.

Wheres the pics of the LP, did I miss them?

I am fortunate enough to have some spare money... I've already got a Tube Screamer, but my next pedals will probably be an EVH 5150, a wah (not sure which one yet), reverb and gate.
