Default Implementing wireless setup

Hi Guys,

Mate of mine with limited technical skill needs to setup wireless at his place, and in the shed 50m away.

There is a concrete driveway between the two, so a buried ethernet is out of the question.

What are the new wireless 802.11n like?? Will it be able to reach the shed, or am i likely to need a repeater?

(And what brands make decent routers, access points, and repeaters?)

Thanks

Thats true, there are going to be other things that will interfier with that sort of range. even though they claim that 802.11 can get like 150m its more like 70 reliably. especially if there are other things that can interfier with it such as Cordless phones, radio havy machinery etc. If you could find a decent router with an external antena you could attach an external antenna to the side of the house to help increase range. a wrt54g would be a good example.
