mAJORD, epic loot!!

Did you buy a new CPU or are you running the 1700?

EDIT:

Crosshair VI Extreme full specs are up on the Asus site: https://www.asus.com/ROG-Republic-Of...IR-VI-EXTREME/

Looks like it has 2x M.2 slots! Not sure how these work when both populated.

Also says it's EATX which I didn't notice at first.

no, ended up deciding on the 1800x. Picked up most of the stuff in the EOFY sales - $584 for a 1800x was too good to pass up.

in my view the value of the top bin is not max overclock, but lower vcore @ 4ghz.

CH6 extreme - 2nd m.2 appears to hang off one of the 8x pci lanes when in 8x+8x mode. Which would mean you'd have to run GPU in x8 to use it? it's not very clear in manual.

Good deal on the 1800x

Sorry but this is in no way guaranteed and I would not count on it at all.

Nice, yea OK I like this one more than the Gigabyte one!

It's got the Intel LAN, decent onboard audio (good caps, shielding etc, even the 3.5mm jacks are gold), very good onboard header layout, Intel wifi, quality capacitors and general components all round for something not too over the top. Maybe a little lacking in standard type-A USB ports on the back for some, an extra two would have been nice but for most ITX builds I'm sure it's enough. At least having that single type-C will be a nice bonus for the future or even now if you can use it.

Looks like awesome value for the price in USD, it costs the same as the Gigabyte on Newegg but the ASRock looks like the winner
