Default Modular PSU

Hey guys

Just bought an ocz 850 gold modular psu, not sure if it a dud or am not using it correctly

So basically i am building my norco 4224 yesterday and the system would not boot up no matter what i try. So today i switch over to my old non modular psu and wahlah the system booted up

My question is. A modular psu need all its cables plug in for it to work? or do i need to DOA my new psu

Are you sure you plugged the required cables in correctly? And no, you dont need every single cable plugged in to get it to work.

As others have said, only plug in what you need and you'll be sweet if it's functioning right!
