I'm moving my main rig into a Prodigy (over the next couple of week - right now I'm buying parts). Can anyone tell me the largest radiator I can install in the front of the case with the DVD bay still installed (I still need to my DVD Drive installed)?

I am planning to install an ASUS GTX680 Top (with block). I am looking to make sure there is clearance between video card & rad as well.

In the front? I'd say a 200mm rad would be the biggest you could fit in the front and still keep your ODD...

Anyone know if you can fit an ARCTIC Accelero Hybrid in one of these prodigy's?

It looks like it would be tight but google isnt providing any good answers this morning.

EDIT: anyone with a black front on their prodigy keen to swap for my white front?

What is everyone using to cool the Prodigy, when using a 3570K over clocked of course.
Are you using Air cool or water cool?
Please list yr make and model plz.
Im looking the most quiet efficient way.

1: Will this system be able to cooling a 370K and GTX 670.
Or is the pump too small. Or am I better of buy this one
OR do I buy the APG2 like this and buy the rad etc separately
Im trying follows "Mr Beans" example, which lead sme to my next question.

2. Do I need a reservoir, Or why do I need a reservoir. ?

The D5 is the better pump, but your biggest issue is going to be the Rad... The general rule is that you should have 2x 120's for the CPU with Ivy's (they run hot) and an additional 120 for each subsequent waterblock...

Also, unless you're planning on modding the case pretty heavily, you won't be able to have a bay res... For a start, there's only one 5.25" bay in a prodigy... Then there's the fact that there's not enough room in the top of the case for a 240 and the bay res... The only way it will work will be if you flip the front panel so the bays are at the bottom, and cut an 2nd bay into the front panel, but this will limit the space you have for a front rad, and you're going to need one to cool your system, unless you don't plan on OCing, in which case you don't need the "k" CPU...

I am on the verge of selling my current 2 bay NAS and will be building a desktop system to undertake NAS and Sickbeard duties.

Can someone please advise as to which componenets I should get. I was thinking of getting these:

Case: BitFenix Prodigy
CPU: i3 3220
RAM: 4 or 8 gig of GSkill ram
Optical: Bluray player
Motherboard: I dunno what mobo to get, please advise
PSU: I am after a PSU that will easily fit into this case, I heard some of the PSU's are hard to fit in. Please advise
Storage Disks: 5x3TB Hitachi
OS Disk: Crucial m4 SSD (I have a spare lying around)
OS: I will use Windows 8 I think. I was told it is possible to use this OS to make all my 5 HDD's act as a single drive letter.

Will this case support 5 3.5" HDD, 1 2.5" SSD and the Bluray player?

Does anyone know what is the largest 140 mm radiator that will fit AT THE BACK of the BitFenix Prodigy Case with a video card installed (or do I need to go back to a 120 mm radiator)?

I recently purchased an Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper 140mm but it doesn't fit in my case (will need to sell this one in order to replace it with unit that fits).

Good morning, I am new on this forum. I am building a Prodigy based media server/ gaming rig for my wife. At the moment I am waiting for the case to be available in Australia again (should be tomorrow!) so I can start building. I collected all the other parts. See if I can fit all of this:

Had big trouble getting the RAM. I could not find a supplier in Australia. Also tried the US and Germany but ordered it from OCUK in the end. I will post some pics once I got the case in.
