Default My heavily modded Sega Game Gear

About a month ago I picked up a modded Game Gear from an ebay seller in the U.S.

It's had its old LCD screen replaced, new caps and a video out mod to allow me to playback the games on an external monitor

The only (minor) issue I have with it is that the games no longer run in full screen mode but i have been told if i use an everdrive cart a lot of the ROM's have been modded to take GGBios out and dropped in SMSbios which will fix this issue

Since i have absolutely no idea what sms bios is (I assume sega master system) or how it works I might have to take a leap of faith and try this

Anyway, here is a short video of the unit in action.

non-emulated is the best if you can, it's more than the content it's the feel of the controller, the sound of everything. Just can't be matched via emulation.

thanks so much for sharing this here, it's a pretty awesome little machine.

That's why I still have all my old consoles and Amiga's

What I love about this project is controller and console in one on a big screen
