Default Chromebook power issues

Hi,

My son has a Toshiba CB35 - B3340 chromebook.

THe Chromebook has started playing up and will not charge - although it indicates that it is, and once the power cord is removed it switches off. As such he can only use it with the power cord in.

I figure it is probably the charging module as the chromebook is only a year and a bit old. The odd thing is, my other son got exactly the same model at the same time and he isnt having any issues...

Question is, has anyone had or heard of this problem?

If it is the charging model, is it fixable?

Cheers
S

If its still on warranty see http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/item/816

Otherwise, try another charger then another battery pack. Both can be tested at a repair shop.
