Default Macbook Air Wifi problems

Macbook air 6,2

Wifi died, so I replaced it with another one from ebay.

After replacing the card, The wifi driver is still not loaded. Apple Hardware test gives.
Issue with Wi-Fi Hardware
Reference Code: CNW001

So I am guessing there is something wrong with the mainboard and/or the connector.

Any thing I can do to diagnose it further?

tks

It's a hardware problem.

Replaced the wifi card. problem still exists.

So next step is a mainboard replacement, which is something I don't want.
