After being told about told about this game today I did a quick look at it, I bought in within 30 mins.

My main concern with this is the latency issues that 1 may have being from Aus yet alone West Aus.... with the combat style this game is going for you'd need low latency like in savage 2?

How is everyone finding the quick combat movements / dodging with the increased latency?

Does the xpac being released tonight mean the update is downloadable right now or not until tonight?

You'd definitely be looking to play a ranged class, or tanky warrior/valk with your higher ping. Its noticeable when the action heats up.

I'm level 22 on my Sorc. Not finding ping to be a problem while levelling at all, but can't speak for high level GvG etc.

Looking for an OCE based guild too, if anyone is keen to take me on. Mostly play weekends but try to sneak in a few hours through weekdays.

Thanks for the key bob05. Not really my cup of tea though. Just seems the UI is all cluttered and the skill list confuses me. Looks pretty on my system where I have to run it on low. Can definitely see the appeal but not something for me.

you can play with the base package. The extras are not required. Horses are cheap to get and pets... well you dont really need them. I havent used mine in weeks since i don't need their skills or auto loot.

I chose the ranger in the end, after figuring the timing a bit more I can bounce around without getting hit for the most part, however going melee with the daggers can be a bit questionable sometimes... I really do dislike this type of combat with this high latency in saying that though, I love this combat.

How does everyone make their in game $?

I'm finding fishing quite profitable, though I am only lvl 23 so it is still early days. I'm finding just fishing at night you can easily make a few hundred thousand silver pieces, a friend of mine made over 1 mill last night (he's around lvl 20) which was quite nice.

I personally wouldn't get it because I don't mind farming for the higher items you get with it also everyone does sell cash paid items on the marketplace so you can actually buy then for in game currency but... it does take time if ur willing to wait?

Fishing is easy money at the start... assuming you can stay logged in during the night. At the moment you'll probably time out every hour due to network congestion.

I make mine trading. At professional 1. I haven't grinded or killed anything in weeks.
