Default Where are the retro bargains? List here!

Thought since some people find it hard to find good retro gear cheap it might be a good idea to list items up for fellow members. I know we have a giveaway thread but this is for items not belonging to members.
Hope this is allowed.
Anyways here is a great tualatin mATX combo for nix;

Good idea for a thread. I usually look at Vogons, but a thread with Australian specific deals is better.

I snapped up that motherboard. I seem to have a huge amount of issues with Tualatin boards dying, including ones I've paid too much for.

Replace the caps. Usually gets them going. Unless they don't even post.

Nice buy that one, made by Lite-On I believe. Shield is too modern but a stock early ATX shield will fit. 512MB PC133 and a 1.4GHz Celeron which usually cost the same as the lot together. Glad an OCAU member got it.

While I reckon this CPU will work, the listing brings up a sore point I have with eBay - sellers listing something as "Used" but then saying it's untested so no warranty/returns. It should be listed for Parts/Not Working.

I have been ripped off by someone selling retro items lately (not this seller) - sold two 5.25" drives as Used, but untested no returns yadda yadda. He posted half a dozen pics of the drives, showing all sides of the drives except this:

The other drive was also rusted badly on the top. It powered up but wouldn't seek. There was no way it would have worked, testing wasn't really required to prove it.

While this could have given me a Significantly Not As Described claim, I didn't want to upset the apple cart too much (bought other drives from him) plus it would have been 2kg postage back to him. He did give me a partial refund, but was a complete tighta**e about it. Just a heads up to other retro hunters out there!

I kinda like this circa 1999 "server" case for some reason: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281483187100

It's annoying, but most "retro" parts on eBay are listed like this (even those sold by OCAUers).

I've bought a few CPUs from that seller (chookster46) and they've all been fine.

Any of you guys after 8mm tape drives? Found 25 still sealed in the wrappers in my granddad's storage after he clocked out. Drives are Exabyte Exatape 160mXL. I have no idea how old these are other than they are copyrighted as 1994, so definitely retro gear!
