If it works, decent price. Missing the pass through cable though.

I use one of these as a pass through, works fine on my voodoo 2's;

Ignore the part that is says today only, I bought one at that price weeks ago.

Cheers,
Shane.

These work as well, bought a few a couple of weeks ago. You can get them cheaper if you are willing to wait for them to come from china.

Those cards run hot with the sandwitch pcb. they released another model that had it all on the one pcb. Ignore my thing above obsidian cards used a special pass through cable the standard tricks wont work.

This seems alright: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/252195291697

Good PCI slot location for Voodoo cards, the HSF seems decent, and PC Partner still have all the support files online: http://support.pcpartner.com/support...VIA694.HTM#vpx

Yeah thought it was a proprietary cable.

Cool card but probably too much trouble.

10 per cent off anything on eBay over $100 this weekend - should be good for some retro buys.

The propitiatory cable for quantum3d boards is called a "medusa" cable. Used for x24s and 200SBis etc.
Here are instructions on how to make one;
http://www.thedodgegarage.com/3dfx/q3d_mercury_faq.htm
So if you can get one cheap without the medusa cable and you're handy with a soldering iron this might be an option.

Nothing else I need to be honest. But if something comes up I will use it.
