(And yes, I know that the Fanatec CS wheel does work with both, but you have to buy the specific $400 dollar adapters for it to work on the consoles.
MS are being little bitches about peripherals atm.

They both are, not allowing previous peripherals to work, requiring new ones, not allowing cross platform compatibility.

Very poor form from the both of them this gen, my wheel isn't even an expensive one but I have still spent over $1k on it and I would expect it to still work with the next systems, it should also work with the bloody PS4! The T300, T300 Base, TX and TX Base are all the same thing, why do they each only work with specific consoles?

absolutely, I'm also referring to the way MS have decided that they won't do any drivers for their great and might XB One controller on anything but W10, little bitches.

Oh, I have the link for the drives to work with Win7/8 if you want, I have been using an Xbone controller since I got it.....

I figured there'd end being a hacked driver or something, but tbh I am still happy with my 360 controllers (although that Elite XBO controller looks amazeballs).

The xbone controller has worked on win7 and up with official drivers ever since they made the option available. Not even the DS4 has official drivers on any PC OS yet.

It does suck that my G920 doesn't work on PS4 but at the moment it's really a non issue since there are no racing games worth using a wheel for yet. But it's going to sting when GT:Sport releases.

It's bloody crap in my opinion that the G27 is such a cracking good wheel, that they can't make it compatible.

Instead every new console it seems you have to buy a new wheel.
How hard would it be to have a simple USB port that every wheel works on??

Modders say yes! Works with nearly every Logitech wheel.

I haven't fired up GT6 in a while. Is that Bugatti Vision available to drive yet?

@heinekev @imjustthecouch @DRIVECLUB @Rushy33 any news about Fanatec support? WRC 5 also have Fanatec support for the PS4

@ShareGamePlay @heinekev @imjustthecouch As a Sony published title we're only allowed to support officially licensed peripherals
If only the G29 and certain Thrustmaster wheels work with GT Sport and GT7, I will be a little more than unhappy.

UPDATE: Sony have now asked Fanatec to remove any playstation logo's off their website as they are not official partners. Seems that any Sony published games will not support Fanatec wheels at this stage. It will still be per game basis for third parties I assume.

Yeah but they should be able to do a fair bit more under the hood. If the FIA are on board with all this eSport hype then you would hope their simulation characteristics and net code are gonna be pretty good.
