ummm OK. I might give it a go.. I suspect my soldering skills are not up to it, but wtf its only a GT710 right?
I'm not seeing an Asus 2GB there though, is it the same as the 1GB?

A practice run @ 5GHz with a stock passive Asus 2GB GT710

13.8 points.. I'm shocked I got more than zero

Going to have to practice my soldering skills I guess, and see if I can improve on that massive score !!

Non of my GPU's will be able to get good points, unless I employ someone like SniperOz to help. And I don't like my chances even then.

looks like my gtx 1070 on water is still 30th in the world for a 1070 on hwbot and a higher graphics score than the top score in the australia oc team but its let down by the 6700k only getting 8.6 points in total

Don't matter 3.9ghz is still good. 775 was never my thing as on Amd back then.
But for collection sake, bought some nice 775 combo's recently.

Do know these guys in here will race ahead with Haswell & Kabylake etc 5Ghz+
So leaves some fun on the older boards ......

Shane thanks for the offer, but even if they are excess, I would hate to kill someone else's equipment.

Dasa that almost sounds in line with what could be expected. WR is 4.5ghz @ 1.9v. But your board will no doubt dictate what your limit is as well as cooling method.

those guys with 775 gear might be very surprised what they can get with some dry ice, chilled water, and older benchmarks like wprime, superpi 1m, and even cpu-z validations.

Excess yes I've bought countless ebay parts over the years.
So if they arrive in poor condition or artifact, I'll fix em up
These are not fit for my display machines.........

So whatever I send " free to try & kill it " no conditions & I don't want the stuff back.
You do the shipping cost

I think they are the same but feel free to post up some pics and I'll give you a hand if needed plus if I remember correctly the Asus cards are fairly hard to mod
