1184cb - AstinGC90 - i7 7700K - 5.4Ghz @ 1.56v - Aorus-Z270x-G5 - Corsair Vegeance 3200 14 16 16 35 2T @ 1.43v - Custom EK Water. Screenshot

This is an old run that needs cleaning up. Ram clocks are a mess and to much volts but will do for now. Also what do you guys recommend for a good RAM kit, this kit isn't really getting the scores I'd like. Is the G.Skill 19-19-19-39 4266 kit the best atm?

In relation to this bench and my platform, thought I might post up some results of playing with a few primary ram timings (All done at stock CPU core and uncore):

- 3000-15-17-17-35-1T - CB2072
- 3200-15-17-17-35-1T - CB2063
- 3400-15-17-17-35-1T - CB2066
- 3000-15-15-15-34-1T - CB2048

So essentially the factory rated/advertised speed gives the best CB score.

EDIT: Above done with Dom Plats 4x4 3000-15-17-17-35 Kit

Open clocks 4 Cores

Upped the cache and tightened timings a little on the memory for a slightly higher score.

1192 -- glnn_23 - i7 7700k - 5.25Ghz / 5.05 @ 1.42v (bios)- Asus Max IX Apex - G.Skill tridentZ 4266 @ 4174 c16-17-17-36 1T - cpu / water

I'm still the only 6 core entry!

Would be interesting to see scores with the progression in architecture of AMD chips, eg FX series and Ryzen on 6 core.

Come on people, don't leave me hanging in this category, pull out your FX heaters, drop 2 cores on your Ryzen and join me.
If you're really into sh1ts and giggles, downclock your ram too and go for a "like for like" comparison. (Although it's probably a bit OT.)

Updated boys, let me know if I get anything wrong.

We need more single thread runs, along with Ryzen variants.

I'll do anything for attention.

Dammit! There's not much more I can get out of the cpu or the IMC and I have already dropped the ram primaries a notch. Back to more tweaking.
