Here's some random pics of ou Maltese x Shihtzu Cooper. He's just over a year old now and great fun. I've always had big dogs myself but we purchased a unit so could only get a small dog to suit the small back yard. So glad we got him cos he's great value, fantastic personality and very switched on.

First four pics are all when he was very young. Last pic is more recent.

This is Patch, he's a 12 Yr old Jack Russell Terrier (Overweight - normally weighs in at 11-12 kg), he's nicknamed the "Million Dollar dog" for the following reasons:

1st incident - As a puppy, barely 1 year old, gets bitten by Brown Snake. Hospitalized, recovers.
2nd - Same again, only past the 1yr stage. Bitten, has reaction to anti-venine, loses a bit of sight, but still sharp, recovers.
3rd - Gets run over by our car, nothing too serious, enough though , to have a metal pin holding his leg together internally.
4th - Constant flea allergy, itching and redness in summer.
5th - Has fat lump removed (ball of fat that grew off his stomach, non-cancerous, just excess fat).
6th - Cancer detected on his back, cancer removed in surgery.
7th - Gets 6 Paralysis ticks on his body, has reaction, 3 night stay in vet hospital.
Constantly getting these paralysis ticks, but as vet said, vast body mass prevents them really taking a hold til there's multiples.

And all the times he runs away with local dogs, almost drowns, etc.... he's a very loveable and loyal dog, but i think he's got the pet equivalent of Munchausens!

This is our dog Nacho. He is a Maltese terrier and just over 9 weeks old. We've had him for almost a week now. He's almost pretty much toilet trained and is a lively little chap.

here is my purebred blue heeler, her name is Cooper (popular name!) and she is about 8 human years old
picked her up from a farm at about 2 weeks old, as being a runt she wasnt any good for a working dog.
have given her years of care and love and she is very obediant and very placid, and a joy for all ages to be around. She is a very good judge of character and is still very playfull, she is still my puppy

pics!

this is Maggie or as i called her, maggaggie (simpsons reference, as thats how she was named). She was a boxer cross, but not sure with what. Unfortunately some time in the last week shes had a heart attack and gone downhill all weekend, she was put down today She was 14 and up until the last week, she was a damn lively dog for her age.

this is Boris. Boz is about 5 years old, boxer. His bottom jaw protrudes a bit but hes plenty loveable (just a bit messy when he eats and drinks haha). Still like a puppy. Hes fairly big but slim, so hes very lanky and looks unco.

There's definitely some good looking dogs there.

This is our dog Zac. We got him from the RSPCA in Canberra and he's great. Pretty smart but very stubborn. These photos were taken the day after we got him. We got him clipped soon after that but he's now a lot fluffier which is keeping him warm during winter.

A couple more Border Collies, both pure-bred and both from the same parents, just different litters.

Skip, he's the older of the two at about 18months old.

Bluey is 11 months old at the moment and would have to be the dopiest Border Collie I've ever seen.

Took the dog for a day out at New Farm park with my mates. He was dead 6hrs later (we think a spider/snake bite). Pretty tragic event as he was just settling into life away from the racetrack. Getting an autopsy done as I'm writing this post. RIP Jules (aka Phoenix).
