KoMoD0 on page 1 your cat looks like a twin of mine. I call mine ‘monkey’ because he reminds me of a monkey because of the way he climbs things. I got him at the Hoxton Park Animal Shelter in Sydney and he is about 1 and ¾ years old and was one of what looked to be twins.

I thought he was the dumbest cat I’d ever had when after I first took him home and then discovered he was actually the smartest and was just shy when I first got him.

Sometimes I ask him how he is and he smiles as he looks up at me and nods his head up and down and makes a sound at the same time! He often makes a brief sound when doing something and I realised it’s because he has heard me talking and is imitating me.

Wow our cats name is smudge as well - didn't think it would be that common, just a random word we picked out... well kinda haha...

Anyways here is a couple of pics of her when she was a kitten, now about 12months old, need to upload some more recent photos.

This is monty. Yeah he is massive, like he looks
I think he's around 9kg or so, but he is the gentlest cat you'll ever meet, he'll come up to anyone and miaow at you if he wants to be picked up, or even just jump straight on your lap if you leave the chair out from the table a bit!

I need to get some more pics of him when he's not asleep
