Looking pretty good for a 17yo cat... doesn't have too many teeth left though

I want a snow leopard, that'd keep the dog quiet and teach the neighbours to keep out of our yard :P

Just get a Male Maine Coone instead, at 10kg those things are the 2nd or 3rd biggest and affordable cats

Some bad news here. Our 7 year old desexed Tom "Banjo" got into a scrap on Friday night...I got home from work & he was no where to be seen. This is a cat who normally greets me at the door, but on Friday, no where to be seen....I looked for a while & he finally made an appearance at about 10pm........Straight away, i knew he had been in a fight, he was not his normal self & asking for food, he disappeared & went upstairs & got under my daughters bed.....I got him out & was greeted with a bloody mess......His ear was all ripped & blood all over his head. He could hardly open his eyes & was not happy at all.

Off to the vets the next morning & the vet gave him the once over...."Leave him with me & i will call you later today".......

At about 5ish, the vet called me back to advise they had stitched his ear, removed some of the cartilage & put in on a course of antibiotics. Apparently he has puncture wounds on his neck, head, front legs, back...you name it, he has holes everywhere.....

His back claws are in a bad way too, the vet says he must have given a fair account of himself & potentially, a feral cat may have been the other cat involved. We live near a big patch of scrub & from now on, Banjo is an indoors cat. I just don't want to take the chances of him getting hurt again...Not to mention the $317 vet bill.....(good bye 8800gts )

Poor little man is not a happy camper, he has no sense of humour..The kids have been warned, give him a wide berth...

There are some pics of the kitten my brother and mum adopted , he turned up on the doorstep as a young kitten and was still there a couple of hours later when they got back and they couldn't find the owner.

She's had her shots now and been desexed.

This is our cat, Zorro. We got him at the start of the year from the RSPCA - the estimated his age at about two, so that makes him almost three

He loves being lazy, and waking you up in the morning. He's not a lap cat though, he's a "I will sit near you and you may pat me" cat.

We're thinking about getting another cat soon, as we're living in a house now, and there's enough room. That and he'll have a friend! ;D

Please welcome Koko (~2 years old)

and Nikita (~8weeks old)

We rescued them both from an animal shelter yesterday. Koko's white patch is where she was shaved for her de-sexing op.

haha

I always find it funny when people try to pass of their everyday tabbies as some sort of special breed! Not naming names though!

Here's my two mongrels. My partner nursed them through coxcidiosis and gastro enteritis as kittens, because the illness caused them to near starve at such a young age they (well the brown one) now try to eat everything. these cats eat carrot, broccoli, peas etc! They usually get IAMS food though.

Don't mind the crappy phone pix.

I have 2 cats, 1 mother and her daughter, I'll post pics up later (No backup = All data gone)

I had another cat, very cute tabby cat, but ran away only a couple of months later, but it was the cutest cat i had. It was a male cat and i found that they tend to more friendlier than females, he would on my lap and sleep, jump in my bed to wake me up in the mornings, and would sleep on my shoulders...

On a side note, does anyone know what those little lizards that are in the backyard called? My cat love playing with them, and at one time, alo had tails missing becuase they would detach when threatened. But my cats have grown out of that stage of catching stuff and just lie around enjoying life ahahaha.
