I receieved my first posted fish yesterday, was really well packed. Double bagged, 3 elastic bands on each bag and packed in a styrofoam box. Everything was put in so nothing moved around and fish can apparently live up to like 2 weeks in the bags,

They all arrived (dull in colour) but started showing up well when i let them out in the tank (arrived @ 8am, i let them out into the tank @ 5pm).

I'm brisbane northside, don't have any corys. So unless you want a female convict with one missing side fin then I'm short of fish to trade. Where in brisbane are you?

In Tassie your are not allowed to trade fish without a lisense, FFS you are meant to get a permit to transport fish from one house to another even if you are moving house. Plus AQIS will try and nail you if you bring fish into the state.

Does anyone know what a healthy male Electric Blue Cichlid, about 8-10cm long is worth?

There's a couple of fish that go under that common name, but if it's a Sc. Fryeri then this is probably a good guide: http://www.livefish.com.au/index.php...oducts_id=1250

They're about the cheapest retailers out there.

Kuhli's are pretty social, and shouldn't present a huge bio load, I'd consider getting a couple more.

Was thinking along these lines, ive been monitoring these guys for a while now. I d want to have at least 5 of them.

Im really just waiting until my loaches go, i want to give away my 3 large zebra danios as well.

So ill simply have my threadfins + SAE + BN + kuhli's left.

Then i can do a bit of a tank work around and stock once im happy again. Have had some plant troubles of late.

Anyway have thrown this thread off a bit so yeah

Amran if you still want all 3 loaches they are yours when your ready.

Anyone who wants 3 plump and exciting to watch Zebra Danios is welcome to come pick them up for free

Cheers

I have a neolamprologas caudopunctus ("caudopunk") adult male (~5cm) who needs a home ... he is an amazing breeder, but his mate unfortunately commited suicide by tile diving a while ago He's getting jealous of the other breeding pair in the tank, so I think he needs a change of scenery. He's in Brisbane currently, will be down at the gold coast soon.

Here he is, guarding his fry.

Would swap with a demasoni, big bristlenose, or maybe even a pile of livebearers (guppies, swordtails, mollies). Also have some 2.5cm juvies if wanted.

PS that livefish website seems hideously overpriced to me! I'm selling my 15cm frontosa for $75 not $225!!! Who would pay that price? It's way less even at the most expensive fish shop.

I know nothing about Africans, but I know Frontosa's bend heavily on price depending on their lineage and stripage. They'll also drop in price sooner or later as I believe they've been put back on the allowed import list.
