Default Where to buy copper sheet?

Where in Melbourne can I buy some copper sheet? I don't need it immediately but will need a few small pieces of 0.6mm-1mm copper sheet to replace thermal pads soon.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Sheet metal workshops.

Don't expect it to be cheap either!
I believe i picked up 10cm x 60cm of 1mm for... $20-$30 a while back.

Specifically around the Eastern Suburbs in Melbourne.

I'll try Bunnings later.

Hobby shops - ask if they have a K&S Metal Stand - that is a brand that sells very thin copper and brass sheets about the size of a paperback book cover.

How 'bout other sheets - stainless, ally, mild steel and zinc'd ?

Do you offer laser or water jet cutting?

specialise in copper and brass, i can organise water jetting, would prefer the templates are supplied in CAD though, or i can draw them up if the dimensions are provided

not that this comes up very often but a contact has access to a new lazer cutter for anyone interested in specific shapes/thicknesses in copper now

drops the cutting costs down to a fraction compared to waterjet

Hey man, now that the forum exists, you may like to have this moved over to Hobby Engineering, it's sure to garner more interest there.

Cheers.

I know Ullrich Aluminium do copper sheet (all kinds of sheet). Not sure if they do hobbyist quantities, they are national.
