you could choose from a fairly decent range of real planes.

might have been on the amiga aswell.

not much to go on but i can't find anything!
More like a simulation or an arcade shoot-em-up?

Got a rough idea of dates? VGA/CGA/etc? OS? I'm assuming it was on PC (Dos/Win)?

Cheers.

from memory, it was a bit of a mixture.
it was also dual direction from memory, not just a single direction like R-Type or the likes.

decent range, i guess meaning there would have been atleast 20.

age: must have been early/mid 90's - i recall playing it on a windows PC, but i'm fairly certain i recall seeing disks for amiga based systems being available too.

Will give this a shot.

Old (must be 90's) on the mac im fairly sure. Space fighting game that was turned based and movement was done on hexagons. You needed to capture planets and that but when you went to the planet it would move to a top view and your space ships and there's automatically faught it out. You could upgrade your space ships and all that. Ships sort of looked like the ones of red dwarf

Sorry for bad description but its all i really remember.

Thanks for the Zaxxon help again, I have another one.

again, a C64 game, more space ships, instead you flew in 1st person in open space, and side scrolling on the ground, and if you flew high enough, you went into 1st person space mode. I remember red and blue alien ships you needed to shoot at. I don't really remember much else. It MAY of had the word space in the name.

This is a really hard one, sorry.

Mario.

Wonder if people can help with this:

It's a C64 game where you're a...person I think (maybe alien?) walking around collecting spaceship parts (it's not Keen).

There's a lot of green, it's sort of 2.5D, so like Metal Gear/Zelda 3 style but with no scenery, and has a catchy tune. I think there's shops and houses you can walk inside too.

Trying to remember an old arcade classic from the 20c machine era. Basically you were a barbarian \ knight??? it was sort of side scrolling but you could climb up another level and your weapon was mainly like a sycthe or axe on the end of a long chain. You would fire it and the chain and weapon would fling out and return.

You could also hit walls for secret area where you could grab armour etc?

Any ideas???
