Nah.... that's not it. Thanks anyway. I always thought that's what it was too but unfortunately not the case.

Yes, I think i know the exact game your thinking of but guess what! Cant remember the name, its like its on the tip of my tongue

Castlevania is everything you described... except the 20c machine...
AFAIK it was a NES only title?

Are you talking about the sequel to Constructor, Constructor: Street Wars?

i got a game for my mum years ago it was a vertical scrolling space shooter, you could get different types of ships, weapon power ups etc

i think it started with an R.

cant remember the bloody name.

i only ever had the trial version of it but it was fun as hell. i want to find it for her again and get the full version and see if i can get it working on win 7 for her!

this was probally 8-10 years ago. im fairly sure it was dos if i remember correctly. it was epic fun, very challenging especially the bosses.
