$50 is a steal. I think I saw one go on eBay-AU a few months back for $300+!

You should watch the angry video game nerd video review where he plays the handful of games that the robot supports and actually customs wires up a controller. One of his better reviews.

Yeah that was classic!

Man can't wait to go back home early next year and see if mine is still in one piece... there should be a NES, ROB, a couple controllers and maybe 30-40 games... I hope my olds didn't throw it out when I moved O/S!

Some pics of my Adam

The box is in decent nick

Some poor sucker paid $1099 for this!

The system itself. Time to clean it up a bit.

On another note I was playing with my 1541Ultimate one of my C64s and it died, so I went to grab a replacement from my stash. I knew the box of one I grabbed was in good nick, but I pulled the unit out and it is brand new. I'm not sure if I should keep it packed back away, it's in such beautiful condition....

Two weeks ago I picked up a bag full of retro goodies from a lady at the local flea market.

For reference, we have:
1x Sega Mega Drive II + all cables.
1x six button controller (missing d-pad)
6-in-1 game cart that includes Revenge of Shinobi, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe.
1x Yumcha Mega Drive with soldered controller and builtin games (again, controller is missing d-pad).

There was also a PS1 in the bag which was kinda busted so I threw it out (I don't like Sony gear anyway).

Anyway: despite being rather unloved (there was chalk inside the the unit and everything is very dirty ) the MDII and 6-in-1 game work a treat. The built-in console is missing a power cable so I haven't fired it up yet. I'm thinking I might use it in a project at some stage if it all works.

How much did I pay for all this loot you ask? $5

Started collecting big box pc games, just paid for Fallout 1, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics big box!

Bought a couple of old systems off ebay -

Gateway PII-450 System with matching monitor and keyboard I was soo jealous of a friends pc which was this exact same model when I was about 15.

SGI 320 Workstation with dual P3-500s

+ Rescued an Acer Aspire P4-2.8ghz from the dump along with a copy of Sim City 2000 and Terminator Future Shock.

Not to troll but that sounds like something to say if you didn't want to sell something.

I collect Sega Mega Drive games myself, got quite a few now. The plan was to get back what I had as a kid but ended up selling. Now I have all that plus way more.

It gets hard to find games at good prices though. I don't really like resorting to ebay, especially for consoles with the shipping involved. Does anyone know any good flea markets in Sydney? I noticed xsive has found some great deals at markets. Which markets do you go to xsive?

Mostly Canberra. There is a decent market in Belconnen and a smaller one in Woden on Sunday mornings. I recently moved to Sydney though so I'd like to hear about local flea markets here too

EDIT: I did find some cool stuff on the odd occasion I went to Sydney in the past. Last year, for example, I visited a few GameTraders stores and found a nice compilation pack of Ultima I + II + III for $2. Another time I picked up CIB copy of Alien Soldier for my Mega Drive; a much sought after title from Treasure. Only 10 bucks

Ah fair enough. I still haven't visited Canberra so might be worth a trip to check it out as well as those markets

Wow, those are awesome deals. Which gametraders store did you go to? I rang the Parramatta one today actually and asked a price for a NES. $150
