I'm having a little trouble...
I've got some TV shows that wont work with XMBC ... Say for 'Malcolm in the middle' which worked with it on my other computer but when I installed XBMC onto the HTPC I built , for some reason Malcolm the middle only appears in 'Video then files' but when I go to TV shows only the folder appears and no season folders appear or tv shows when I click it .. I've tried updating my library , deleting Malcolm and putting it back.. and running it through MCM where it appears fine? |

if you have a another pc (including a stanalone server) have a read of my thread here: http://forums.overclockers.com.au/sh....php?t=1038131 using MC is the best option for XBMC and having the tbn and nfo file son that outside machines means scraping TV shows easier and can be done when the HTPC is offline basically each shows needs to be a fiolder then have sub folders for each season

I set up my 2TB External Hard Drive on my other computer while I was waiting for the parts to come ripped all my movies/tv shows and made them all neat in folders for each tv show and each season.
On my other computer it showed just fine how it's meant to but for all my TV shows and Movies. I then set up my HTPC Wednesday and set up XBMC, hooked up my external to it and added the folders 'TV Shows and the Movies' The movies loaded just fine with descriptions and all. The TV shows loaded just fine with descriptions and all but -5 TV shows which when in the 'TV Show' tab in XBMC it only shows the name of the TV Show but nothing inside it once you click it. But it shows the tv shows if you go into the 'video tab' in XBMC. Ill try MC when I get home. Thanks. |

Yes I do.
Name of Show -> Season xx -> S01E01 - Name of show The fact it worked fine on my other computer is what im puzzled about. And MCM said it was fine |

It looks like Malcolm doesn't conform to your naming convention:
Name of Show -> Season xx -> S01E01 - Name of show Instead Name of Show -> Season xx -> EXX - Name of show Is that different to your others?
