as in 3g wireless? or wireless router?

If wireless router, just turn it off at the correct time.

if 3g wireless, try to get a dongle. Easy to just pull them out of the port. Although you should still be able to turn off your wireless with the keyboard at the right time, since it takes around 5-12 seconds usually.

Use different guides, some are better than others. Also I tried more than 20 times at one stage, but eventually it worked.

7.8 should be rolling through. The Telstra page indicates that updates have been re-approved for deployment to handsets.

Update now deploying via Zune. Update deployment is "throttled" with availability to all customers expected within 10 business days of initial release
HD7 and Mozart both have this status.

Lots of people reporting they have only got the update that I was talking about which apparently is a pre 7.8 update. the first of 4 or something. the others aren't out yet

***EDIT found this post at the end of the thread from CraigR

Re: Handset updates - 11 April

I am following up with Microsoft to see if there is a generic issue with the 7.8 update. To date Telstra has not been made aware of any problems outside of the the reports on this forum - which have just been brought to my attention.
that was posted 6 hours ago

small update, I have now been able to update my Mozart to 7.8.

Anyone else on Telstra should be receiving the update soon, I believe.

If not, post in the crowdsupport thread and let CraigR know which model of phone you have.

you could and try forcing updates to see if they appear. that's what needed to be done on my old HD7.
