I might have to look at my own pricing, could be a buck to be made here

I've only done a few for other people, haven't charged a cent yet. I mostly only do stuff like that to my own property.

Mind you, that's with them delivering it, watching it done, seeing it tested and leaving again. At least that way my arse is covered. Time to start charging though.

I think Paulie has it about right at $25 + post, I'll stick with his prices I think.

I'm only $25 plus they cover post and I test before and after. Most of it covers my time, the cost of the paste to test before and after, the silicon and the Conductanaut after. Still way cheaper than buying your own tool. Takes me around 3 hours total with testing and doing things properly. Quick delid without testing/paste would do for a 10er.

Just did another yesterday for a fella. He bought the whole pc here, pulled it out, delid, Conductanaut, relid and seal, reinstalled and tested. 20deg drop with exactly same settings.

Haven't had one die yet from the delid.

Take into account $15 for decent postage (tracked/insured/registered), That's only $35. Time, conductonaut usage, and what about cost if 1 happens to die while it's being done? Would have to do another 15 just to break even. In terms of $$/time/risk, it's not exactly massively profitable.
