So place a small dark float inside the tube so you can see where the level is or a U shaped wire that brings the indicator outside of the tube.

It's not fucking rocket science yet you retards always send people down these ridiculous paths where you discuss such a simple problem with complex 3+ page solutions to tug yourselves.

Anyways, unsubscribed to this thread now - it pains me to read some of the ridiculous overcomplicated costly 'solutions' people are proposing.

The fact is, the OP has been offered a pretty decent range of possible solutions of varying complexity, practicality and cost, on the most part from people who had bothered to read the whole thread properly.

Generalising a bit? Probably time to take an ol' chill-pill or 2, or, maybe 3 in your case, as you are suffering from a severe case of verbiage.

Once you've done that, make an appointment at the next available optometrist, and have your eyes checked, because it seems you're blind too.
