Shane I think your enthusiasm is to be commended but you have to look at the way team points are calculated it is completely different to an individuals points.

You can have 4 people in your team all with a 4790k and each run and submit SPi32m all 4 will get individual points for themselves but only the best submission will get team points.
Look in this sub here of mine I got 5.2 individual points but no team points because someone else on my team had a better submission.

You actually get .1 of a point for your team with any sub made even though it doesnt show it in your submissions.

I have great admiration for the Top benchers here and they are a great bunch of fella's.
And add most of the points to the team
Well done with the recent world records.
And of course I will be trying to help out in the CC again this year.

But everyone can help out to get the team higher up the ladder.
For those that dont know I bench with Warp9-systems the No1 team.
http://hwbot.org/team/warp9_systems/
Our top contributor is an enthusiast so some of you people that dont think you can help out you can.

The trick to it is to look through the different platform listings say someone start with 775 and go through the CPUs and make a list of all the ones that Team AU hasnt submitted then buy them they are cheap as chips these days.
Run each one through all the 2D benches that receive points they dont have to be the top sub as long as you are getting points for it.
The same goes for graphics cards even as far back as Geforce 2.
The lesser models are still worth points too.
Submit anything and everything.

Sadly we suck too much with old hardware although I'd be willing to give it ago and @Shane team cup is perfect for you as it's mostly about old and obscure hardware

2000+ views in a short time. Happy with that.

So 5hrs I pushed that old Devils Canyon 4790K to it's limits.
It complained & blue screened all the while, never could stick the settings.

51x

You know what I just had to back off, 50x multi is alright & works.
Massive 12.6 points in Aquamark on a 9800gx2.

Yes I know Still I battled adding 1.3 hardware points on my previous best.
Taking a given up score 358K to near 367K

Depends entirely on what the bench likes, I have the full works, XP, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, server and both x86 and x64 for each.
Some benchmarks will prefer even minor changes between builds, especially on win10 which is constantly updated.

Ryzen is best for Cinebench 11.5, R15 and GPUPI.

I think people get really hung up on the "sponsored" gear that people in the OC world get, it is significantly less than you might think, especially if you're not in US or EU.
Here, you might get a board as a review sample, maybe a kit of ram/PSU even. The rest is out of your own pocket.

We wont know til November 1st, and there's still many releases before then.

you absolutely cannot make that guess at this point.
