I can understand if their reasoning is, "it's my personal phone, if you want me to use it for your business they either give me a work phone or pay for mine".

Same if people ring me on my personal phone when I worked for company XYZ they got some frosty responses and profanity as it is not a work device.

I only have one 2012 and a few 2012r2 and they all start fine.
