Default Tip: some PSUs have removable SATA connectors

I was doing some cable management with a SilverStone ST30SF 300W SFX and noticed that the SATA power connectors aren't crimped or pressed, they're the punch-down type with plastic caps.

Example pic: (not from the actual PSU)

So if you're going to throw out an old PSU, check to see if the connectors can be re-used. Punch down types can be pulled off by hand, and punched down with a screwdriver anywhere along a power cable for some sweet cable management. Or you can buy them for $1-$2 each.

That's really nifty! I'll have to keep an eye on that.
