You have to listen for the gun shot noise not where the bullet hits.

The bullet hitting the ground or tree is non-directional it's kind of a radius of sound that occurs from bullet hits which can mis-lead you on where it coming from.

Sound is fantastic in this game IMO

Agree with olle having sunk around 290 Hours into the game it's very love hate.

FPP has made it the game I think it should be.

After 300 hours, FPP is a breath of fresh air. Was slowly starting to get fed up with 3rd person camping bullshit. The game feels a lot more honest. Really hope it hits AU servers this week. Then I'll know if it's just because AS is super easy or not. Heh. Cause I have a 5:1 KD ratio and 35% win rate in squad.

I like playing CSGO occasionally but finding that overall, this is the 'kill time' game for me going forward.

How do you find the pings playing FPP on NA servers?

I dont know where the servers are located but after the first minute of the game all my hit's register like I have 20ms ping, even though logic would dictate its should be around d 200-300ms.

I find NA to have better hit rego than AS server's for FPP mode

Just played a few rounds, you're right. General lag of picking things up is expected but it's surprisingly good on the hit reg.

Love FPP. Reduces so much BS everyone gets away with

was pretty skeptical about first person only mode to start with, having played 5-6 rounds now i think i actually prefer it. it definitely changes the game a lot. lot less camping, game is faster paced.

still needs to add an option to change the behaviour of right click... need to be able to make it so that holding right click goes to ADS instead of shoulder.

I've been playing NA FPS Squads. So much better than 3rd person, fewer dickheads on the NA servers too.

AS FPP feels like it's 3/4 Australians too.

Having a high ping in PUBG can be an advantage most of the time
