I just swapped out my trusty CF4890s for a 7850, and have noticed a couple of minor issues in starcraft 2.
Now i realise this is a heavy CPU game (i5 2500@4.5), but im still surprised by the restults. Firstly, the recommened settings in SC2 are now 'medium & high', whereas they were all 'ULTRA' with the 4890s. Secondly, the FPS are higher during most of the game, but in large (4v4) battles, the FPS seem to drop further than it did when running the 4890s. This second point is obviously subjective, but does anyone have any suggestions on a possible cause? Non mature drivers? It's not a big deal, but i was hoping to run the game on ULTRA settings with no frame drops in large battles. Cheers, RHCP. P.S. I always have physics and models set to low Note: Even the recommend 'CPU' heavy settings such as physics and reflections have changed to none/low (from ultra).
