I used these connectors to connect my shelves etc.

I measure the distance roughly, add some extra wires I extracted from my spare cat5/6 cables that I have lying around (I have a lot of them) and then wrap the cables in black paracord sleeving with heat shrink on ends. All my designs are modular so if I want to change things etc it's very simple matter of unplugging a clip without having to unsolder the whole thing.

Hehehe just a word of warning, if you buy multiple lots, check the red/black polarity on them. I've had 2 batches with different polarity. So I had to wire one of them backward to ensure compatibility with the rest of the cablings.

Thanks, will do. Hopefully they'll turn up around the same time as my light sensor relay, since both of them are coming from China. Gives me some time to finish the other shelves off in preparation I guess

Almost done. Changed my mind about some stuff so I'm 1 roll of LED short. Hopefully will arrive sometime next week so I can finish off the last 2 cabinets. So far it's looking pretty good.

This pic has not been colour corrected.

Original lighting. Colour corrected. Original colour a lot more yellow. Also exposure corrected, original exposure is a lot brighter at top and very dark at the bottom.

An understatement for sure, that's such a crazy setup.

My cheap little figures that just arrived, but I love em. Couldn't find anywhere else to put them so this will do for now.

Finally done! iPhone panorama pic. Will redo with better (less wonky) image later.
hint: click to embiggen

Here's the good version. Don't have a wide enough lens to take the whole thing properly, so did a pano instead.

Edit: Less warped version. I don't have a lens wide enough and the room has space issues so i can't move back or move into a position that can get everything without clipping.

Oh wow, that's insane but I love it. Is it heavy and solid or light and plastic-ish?

Saw that on their Instagram feed last night. It looks amazing. They wrote they did a variation on the helmet design on how it attaches and fits together.

I bought a cheapie portalble photo studio off eBay a couple of weeks ago. It's decent - comes with an overhead LED strip powered by microUSB cable and has a decent foam backdrop in black and in white for the infinity background. Don't like how there's a few air gaps at the corners but it'll be something I will mod out to make the next set of shots clean. It came in last week so I threw a quick test shot in.

If it doesn't work off my OneDrive as direct embedded image link then just click this.

Its plastic (with metal internals), but weights in at about 8.6kg.

you guys have some crazy collections (and lots of space it seems!). I don't have many statues except a few from one of my favorite games Overwatch

Here is widowmaker which is shipping now that I have on order (not my pic but people on reddit have started receiving theirs). That's a tracer statue in the background

The upcoming Dva statue looks pretty epic too - it's a monster at over 50cm tall and around 12 kg - and an huge price tag of over $700 shipped (yes I have one on order )
