Latest article I've written up on all the real-world avionics instruments I am gathering for the cockpit, including warnings about radiation in some instruments.

Have you given any thought about how to power it?

Maybe you could ask Jaycar to donate one of THESE..

Don't get that one, its broken. I can see cracks in it
What will be the power source for those engines? A couple dozen RC battery packs I'm guessing?

Of course the problem with the Jaycar Flux Capacitor I suggested is that you also need a small nuclear reactor, and Jaycar don't sell those, so your option looks pretty good.

Love watching you make things, problem solve, and the absolute commitment you put into it. I regularly show kids your stuff online, you are a fantastic role model, and the Starlight Foundation will benefit hugely by your association with them.

Kudos to you Baz. One hell of a man.

After a quick paint, (I know it's not the genuine colour.... yet) I used some cardboard to rough out a dashboard cover unit, then transferred it onto 12mm plywood.

Somehow I picture it going from cardboard to plywood in a matter of seconds.

Finished up on the stringers on module 2 at the back. Bolted in a top reinforcing longeron on module 2, some strengthening brackets on module 1. Happy that module 1 is going to support itself on the end of module 2, so it's now onto skinning it with some foam and beginning to sculpt.

Also, the port side switch for the cockpit arrived in the mail. A rare find and thanks to another Overclockers member for helping me with that.
