Any chance someone has a generic letter so i can give a few people permission to shoot on my property. This is mainly for mates partners, who wants a license but doesnt quite want to join SSAA yet.

Also what the min age someone can shoot on my property i know its 11 at the range, but my partner has 10 year old twins that want to come 22lr/air rifle plinking.

Cheers

My dad has a generic one I'd used when I got my license. It basically had the header he used for anything official, and stated that I had permission to shoot on the property that was this size and had these pests. I can't blame him for not joining, I think getting a letter is the best option if you know someone who can give you one, it's the cheapest and has little red tape.

As for ages, depends on state. You'd need to check state regs as I'm pretty sure it varies. Regardless, if they are taught properly and can use them safely age should be irrelevant.

Haha yeah, but if being cerakoted, won't make a difference?

Was going to get the stainless until I saw mates cerakote.

Except when you want to put a reamer in it or do any machine work.

So long as you store it correctly, once cerakoted the exterior won't make a difference but the bore/chamber is still raw. Keep it well maintained and you won't notice any advantage spending the extra $ on stainless.

Any of you blokes press at the range?

Thinking a little Lee hand press might be a handy bit of kit to take down with me. Load and shoot as I go..

Not sure what your after RE letter. It's not been that complicated and works for me. I just stick to putting the minimum info asked for;

---------------
<Date>

I <Property Owner Name> give permission for <Hunters Name> of <Hunters Address> to hunt on my <Size> acre Rural Property located at <Property Address>

Signed,

<Property Owner Full Name>
<Property Owner Phone Contact>
Owner;

Just submitted a PTA for my new 9mm. Showing contempt for my wallet I decided to go all out and venture into the STI DVC line up.

All going well I might even be able to give it a run next weekend
