Can't believe I forgot fishing. Great fun.

Astronomy is cool but light pollution in cities sucks.

My suggestion for a 1x1m garden (You can even build a platform with wheels to make it mobile).

Dwarf fruit tree of your choice in a tub. Pineapple sage, purple sage, oregano, chives, coriander, mint, prostrate rosemary in pots around the fruit tree. Put the mint in it's own pot . You could also grow some strawberries in tiered/hanging pots. Roma or cherry tomatos are fine in a small space but IMO you'd want a bit more space for other varieties. If you have a bit more space the options expand dramatically.

The cool thing I've found about gardening is that it's renewed my interest in cooking. Tarragon, mint, kaffir lime, corriander, sage, DROOL!. Especially when you can just walk outside and grab some fresh stuff to suit what you're cooking at the time. The problem I have is defining the boundaries of my garden. LOL.

Yah.. Speakers/sub covers some basic woodworking, electronics and advanced electronics if you want to make the sub amp or active speakers.

I guess this would rule it out but model building? Naturally a train set is the natural progression when including electrics.
