Haha yeah exactly. I said overlook not disregard/ignore its plain as day whats wrong with this game. But my 10hr trial ended too soon for me. About 7.5hrs of it was a scratch on the story's surface. So yeah, im having enough fun. Plus the mp is sick despite the issues.

Yeah still seems worth a purchase, just a shame how much they got wrong when they got so much right with the others. Big step up in some areas (combat, powers, graphics) and big steps down in other areas

Had potential for GOTY but it seems like publisher didn't wanna budge on a deadline. Patches might fix some of the bugs/animations etc but don't ever see this being a classic like the other 3.

For anyone interested there's a companion app that's supposedly a bit useful.

https://www.destructoid.com/mass-eff...p-426219.phtml

Quote:
Named Apex HQ (available on iOS and Android), it's mostly multiplayer-oriented and excels at giving an overview of your characters, their loadouts, and your overall progress (along with the ability to upgrade and tinker with everything). This is something that Mass Effect: Andromeda (full review here!) doesn't do particularly well. Simply put: It's less confusing on the app than in the game.

However, the bigger allure comes in managing your Strike Teams, the passive multiplayer squads you can send to tackle missions when you don't feel like doing them. In Andromeda's singleplayer, you have to be either on the Tempest or the Nexus to send Strike Teams into battle. This is a problem because a lot of time is spent far away from those locations. The app makes it so you can always check in on them, constantly reaping the benefits of their hard work.

There's a lot to keep track of in Mass Effect: Andromeda. It's overwhelming at times. This app won't help cut down on the bulk of everything but it will streamline it to some extent. That's enough to justify a download.

Yeah its great for managing the strike teams, get some resources stacking. The rewards are only for sp.

For the mp side you can gear and level up your characters. Good for time saving i guess, bit smoother than in-game menus
