Default Geil Evo One 2133 DDR3 4GB + Maximus Formula III BIOS settings - screenshot

I just bought a set of these coupled with my 860 and maximus III board. any ideas how to run it @ its specified speeds on this particular board.?

any help is appreciated.

533 fsb and 1.8v dram?

but wouldnt the 1.8v be dangerous?

i have been trying through memory level up wiht no success... xmp is pretty hopeless... sure it pulls out all the timings and what not but gives me blue screen.... i cant worth out why i cant run it at 2133?

whats more is i tried perfect mem... in bios... it launched some tool which done some testing but flung my cpu speeds to 3.6ghz i havent ordered my water cooling yet so i couldnt do much


now im spewing because alll i want to do is manually enter speeds leaving cpu at stock.

sorry, my bad. I thought maximus III was x48, not p55. That is prob way to much dram for memory designed for that chipset.

on my x58 system i took memory all the way to 2.0v no probs. im still new to p55 atm
just got my gear..

Got your pm but since i don't answer memory related questions in pm only on forums i'll reply here. Unfortunately, I have yet to play with my P55 setup so can't help you there. Yes i4memory.com site and forum is run by me, there's a few folks posting their P55 results there which you can see to get an idea of what is needed to clock memory

see (from those threads it seems like X58, P55 key to high mem clocks is CPU VTT and VDIMM voltages)

ok someone please sus out this pic for me.... it looks like its all running fine 1t or 2t is better?

and btw does that 98 cycle look outta wack or is that quite normal?
