This is my biggest problem. Last night I spent time in all classes depending on the situation, so speccing up one in particular doesn't seem like it is going to be that useful. The flipside is trying to level up all of them will be useless.

For anyone that has played PS1, was this the same?

Do we have an outfit or clan or whatever they're called these days?

Who do I talk to to get an invite.

Edit, Playing Vanu.

edit2: I also have a 30,000 slot mumble if you guys wanted to pack into it (or use it for other games, I don't care), I'm not sure the in-game voice is working, no one seems to respond when I use it.

Address is mumble.silguild.com (guilds mumble)

Spend them on whatever you want, to suit your play style.

I am kind of so-so about the game, never played PlanetSide 1 but a few things that are kind of annoying:
  • Inability to spawn in facilities you own
  • Some of the skills (like the squad leader skills) need to be unlocked and require a decent amount of credits. I think combat would be better if you had these from the start.
  • Unable to create multiple characters on a server or change the server a character is on (as far as I know)
  • Anti vehicle and vehicle combat combat seems a little unbalanced

Guys if you are struggling with the learning curve I've made a guide on some really important things you need to know to stop being a scrub.

We're also keen to help you learn if you play New Conglomerate. We're having an absolute blast with this game on mumble every night blowing the hell out of anything that moves. Hit us up on the recruitment page at the top of that link if you're interested.

Nice short and sweet little guide there. Nice work. I was playing this the other night, had a lot of fun. It is a little bewildering for new players though, especially when you find yourself getting dropped into an enemy base right of the get go?!

I remember in PS1 there was a testing area where you could test out different vehicles and weapons for practice. Is there on in PS2?

Just played for about four hours. Loving it.

Just a question, do you need to be an engineer to destroy/repair generators?

Anyone can destroy, just be close to it and press E.
But only engineers can repair, yes
