Anyone here with experience of the Steelseries 840 Headsets.

I am aware of the changes between the 800 & 840 but wanted to hear real life experience of any OCAU users rather than the paid for reviews you find online.

The 840's are not anywhere here in Perth for sale other than JBhifi who want $500 for them which is ridiculously overpriced compared to eastern seaboard shops...

If not the 840's I might wait for the new Razer Threshers ....no solid eta on those in Perth or Australia at large that I can tell?

Any recommendations for a noise cancelling headphone? primarily for use for travel.

Currently thinking of getting the Bose QC35 or QC25. Anything cheaper that is good value?

I just got the Bose QC35 and they are great.

My wife got a pair before flying to the US and she said there was a baby crying most of the trip but she couldnt hear it unless she took the headphones off

I was worried the sound quality would be affected with the NC on, but it sounds as good as my Bose Soundtrue

Thanks, im definately leaning towards the QC35. Can the QC35 be used with the in-flight entertainment system wirelessly? or do you need to use the cable?

Any recommendations for after market cables for Shure se315's? Maybe around $100? Android vol controls a bonus. Anything over $100 is just bs.

Does anyone have the Sennheiser 4.50 BTNC?

Im trying to confirm if i can use them with a cable but powered off?
I have a pair of AT ANC9 at the moment, and want to replace with a bluetooth pair of over ear, noise cancelling.

I use them during the day at work mostly and dont need the NC or bluetooth on for that. Will the Sennheiser's work powered down but with an 'aux' cable plugged in?

Thanks

Requires power for active noise cancellation. The unit will be powered with aux plugged in and you require active noise cancellation

Hey guys,

My girlfriend is looking for some wireless over the neck headphones, wants to use them for gym and mentioned that some state they are water proof but not sure if thats just a buzzword and they all are water/sweat proof or not.

Looking to spend up to $200.

Thanks in advance!

If you up the budget a bit you can get the QC30's which are water resistant (ie they will handle sweat etc no problem)
