Nearly forgot got a good SSD OCZ vertex 3. Im currently saving for another RAD 360 and a pump to go in my dual bay res (xspc) Scored a few 240 gt's for cheap of the f/s section here. Last edited by GeneralDeath; 24th February 2012 at 11:42 AM. |

In between Eheims I tried a D5 and it was horrid so I went back to a 1250 and it's been great.
Guys is there much use in buying a cascade? I found a -130 unit that I'm sure I could land here for around $1000 but I don't know if it's worthwhile. Samus - I have a few goals to hit first with my 580 then if I don't sell it then it will go to one of the kids. It isn't special in my opinion, it has benched at 1045 on water but needs 1.3v to do it,it has done 1300MHz on LN at similar voltage so I want to try it on dry ice and see what she will do. 7970 took my attention away from it for a while and with Kepler looming I have to get it done soon.

i bought the d5 after years of DDC's on a whim, a try something different and its been nothing but a pain in this case. im putting it mostly down to reservoir though, as its hard to fill and bleed.

The fun of trying out different reserviours
![]() So far I've liked the swiftech micro res. I'd stay way from bay reserviours. There a nightmare to bleed. |

yeh. im no noob to watercooling, ive tried plenty of reservoirs. a bay res works in teh FT02 really well though, and with a fullsize board, plus the radiator taking up nearly the entire lower section, its getting a bit tight.
y o y do i do this to myself....

All my gear is finally in Launceston.
Now I just gotta work up the motivation to put it all together into my case. I quite liked being lazy during summer and having my entire computer splayed across an entire two desks. |
