Think the comp looks good mate no extreme cooling needed so no excuses all about setting up your OS an Tweaking it looks like fun.

last comp, hadnt 2011 just been released? it was run to promote the upcoming gigabyte 2011 boards, just like this one is for the z77 boards, right?

so im not sure what was being missed out on last time..?

yep, agreed. should be good for testing our efficiency and tweaking methods against each other.. doubt anyone will be sharing any of their little tips leading upto/during the comp lol

Indeed it is. This pot is really heavy, I was surprised when picking it up and seeing just how much mass it packed. Looking forward to pulling it down to -170c.

Get hypers while you can guys, I have a feeling the price is going to jump for second hand units around here

Why would the price jump? It's not like it's going to affect availability at all, hypers have been EOL for a long time now.

exclusivity always causes people to hoard. someone who doesn't understand that bbse / mch haven't been manufactured for some time will believe their hypers will warrant an even larger premium. you are thinking intelligently... i never put the general public in to that group.
