Holy crap mcleotg, that is one hell of an IMC on that CPU. Did you need to move IMC or any other volts for that? Nice work man!
Bring that kit and CPU around next weekend, I feel one hell of a 32m run coming on.

i usually use my VCCSA a bump or two over 1.1, same with VCCIO.
probably should try up to 1.2 and see what if anything it does. |

The memory should be able to do 2800 10-12-12, I was able to run 8M there with 1.84vdimm. Fingers crossed.

8m easily completes at 2t but at 1t it is a little bit flakey
![]() Testing 32m now Edit: 32m won't run at those timings with 1.85v. It seems like your kit is stronger than mine but I'll do more testing tomorrow

Setup my classy for some i7 930 DICE fun. Brought the temps down and set some mild settings in the bios. Very first post and I get the dreaded FF error. Yes I know it means fully functioning, but when it's the first and only code to come up, it's not good

Well I was using it with just the pot and setting everything up. Everything was going great so I went into bios and and started to brings temps down. Got to about -50 so I set it to 4.5 which I know the chip can do because I had it at that on water before. Reset the machine to apply setting and BAM FF error.
I stripped it all down and threw the stock cooler back on and it posted fine so everything is ok. Could it be a CB? was about -60 at the base of the pot. Let it warm up to about -50 and cleared cmos and all that jazz. Nothing but FF error. |

doubtful cbb @ -60 unless it's sandy? i would be looking more at board flex. i've not been following the thread as much as i should have - grab a piece of 5mm pe from clarks rubber to act as a washer between the mount and board. it'll help you get good seat and help with board flex.
