As mentioned earlier, do a proper reset by holding down the power button for 30 seconds (yes, you have to hold it down for a long time). Good luck anyway.

I experienced something similar when I turned it off for a quick charge. You might have to perform the long power button press twice.

Asus have announced screen protectors and 4 new cases!
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/blog/2012...to-mobile-fun/ Glad I haven't bought a case yet, will definitely be picking up one of those keyboard cases when they become available. |

Got mine last friday. Took to airport with me monday, put it in backpack, ON TOP of my laptop and it's bag of cables. Pulled it out for xray, all good. Put it back in bag. Walked upstairs, took it out of bag 5 minutes later. Screen cracked full width of device, whole screen no longer responsive. Only power and vol controls do anything.
Put fist through screen and threw in bin. Cheap piece of shit, Google. Hurry up and make an up-spec, DECENT one. And before anyone tells me to be "more careful" with my shit, just don't. I treat all my stuff like it was made of porcelain. |

![]() Pretty sure you could've replaced the screen for less than a hundred bucks dude. And no offence but putting it in with a laptop without any protection between them doesn't sound like the best way to store it. |

Agreed. I have babied my device too, and would not place those two devices next to each other without padding.

Just bought one at my local JB, comes in tomorrow.
1 question though, I do a bit of photography and is it possible to connect my camera via OTG cable and view the images? Edit; a bit of research shows a Xoom is able to do it. Is it enabled on Nexus 7? Last edited by tgluak; 2nd August 2012 at 1:54 PM. |
